Verizon upgrade to the Harvard Phone platform UPDATE: All upgrades are complete
Moratorium - The following Services will be impacted, ServiceNow HPh Kurmi requests, Harvard Phone Account Portal, and Sub Admin accounts for voicemail pin resets during the moratorium dates below: Friday June 3rd starting at 5:00 PM through Monday June 6th at 8:00 AM.
Friday June 10th starting at 5:00 PM through Monday June 13th at 8:00 AM.
Phone Service Impacts
During the June 3rd weekend upgrade, all phones will failover and re-register four(4) times. Phone functionality will not work while the phone is failing over. In most instances, active calls will be preserved until the call has ended and then the phone will perform the failover, however, please plan for possible active call drops. During the failover except to end the call, no other supplementary features like transfer, hold, resume, conference, call forward, call park will work. However, once the active call is ended, phones will re-register, and supplementary features will be available. Voicemail will not be impacted. Jabber users may need to re-login multiple times during the upgrade and may experience call drops during failover. Third party devices will have outages during the upgrade.

The service moratorium remains in place until Monday June 13th at 8:00AM..
During the June 10th weekend upgrade and during failover voicemail services will be impacted. Impacts are expected to be brief. Users may not be able to leave voicemail. If voicemails are recording, they may not be delivered to users on time. Jabber users may need to re-login multiple times during the upgrade and may experience call drops during failover.
