WHO WE ARE

The Harvard Phone program is a  Strategic Initiative led by Harvard University Information Technology (HUIT) and sponsored by Harvard's CIO Council.



UC Governance

 Executive Committee

    • Provides strategic direction and priorities for program policies, stakeholder communication and new business processes
    • Identifies and assists in the resolution of program obstacles and risk mitigation strategies
    • Monitors ongoing impact, service levels, and service improvements

Financial Leadership Council

    • Educates and informs council members who are involved and impacted by this initiative
    • Identifies and recommends implementation approaches for a streamlined financial and billing model  for VoIP services
    • Collaborates on process improvements and strategies to minimize financial risks and ensure smooth transition
    • Monitors ongoing impact and service improvements

FAS (School) Engagement Council

    • Educates and informs council members who are involved and impacted by this initiative
    • Identifies strategies for a streamlined model for telecom provisioning, tub-level billing and change support
    • Defines service policies and process improvements that align with FAS (school) objectives
    • Discusses project implementation and strategies to minimize risks and ensure smooth transition
    • Monitors ongoing impact, service levels, and service improvements

 IT Stakeholder Group

    • Identifies  and engages project resources from HUIT, vendor and customer and educates on program initiatives
    • Collaborates on key project areas: product development, administrative and support models, network requirements and training
    • Develops process improvements and risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth transition and  successful completion of objectives
    • Monitors ongoing impact, service levels, and service improvements
